1980: Launched A Legal Career
John Bourlon began his legal career with a bang. Particularly interested in family law, he graduated NCCU and decided to jump in the deep end and open up his own business, John Bourlon P.A.
Already having taught and succeeded as a UNCW Professor, he was equipped and ready to excel in this new journey. As a highly passionate individual, he brought energy when helping clients win their cases.
1987: Career Success
Using his wit, passion, and work ethic, John Bourlon was able to connect with clients, understand their needs, and level with them in a way to best build their case.
With no advertising and website, he got clients through word-of-mouth alone.
1992: Diversified Legal Services
While family law was something that always intrigued and excited John Bourlon, he wasn’t ready to just stop there. He went on to add services such as criminal law, traffic violations, and private investigating.
Expanding these services allowed him to help more people and gain more and more experience.
1996: Expanded to Bourlon and Davis, P.A.
John Bourlon married Camilla Davis, and the duo went into business together, combining their experience in family law and other matters.
John and Camilla together proved to be stronger together and are currently still succeeding as Bournlon and Dabis, P.A.
2001: Appeared in the News
Gaining traction and winning cases, reporters and journalists alike began taking an interest in his opinions and commentary on different high-profile cases.
At this point in his career, he felt confident enough to speak up on topics that was interested by.
2008: Recognized for Professional Excellence
Along with being featured in news articles, John Bourlon has accepted many interviews, guest lectured at universities, and won awards.
